A software workshop for everyday life

Practical software for the messy parts of being human.

Badass Laboratory is a small workshop where everyday problems become useful tools. I build what I wish existed, share what is on the workbench, and occasionally help other people turn their own messy workflows into calm, usable software.

Why this exists.

Most software asks people to do more: more notifications, more dashboards, more tasks, more systems to maintain.

I am interested in something quieter.

I want software that helps people spend less energy keeping life together, so they have more room for the things that actually matter: riding, family, dinner, hobbies, rest, and being present in the life they already have.

Badass here does not mean climbing Mount Everest. It means handling ordinary Tuesdays a little more gracefully.

What’s on the workbench.

These are active experiments, not polished corporate products. Each one started as a real-life problem and is being shaped into something useful.

Can I build something for you?

Sometimes people see something I have built and realize they have a similar problem. If your life, work, family, or small business has a repetitive task that feels harder than it should, I can help think through it.

🧭 Workflow Mapping

We untangle what is happening now, where things get stuck, and what actually needs to be easier.

🛠 Custom Tools

Small apps, dashboards, automations, or trackers designed around how you naturally process information.

📦 Handoff Friendly

The goal is not to trap you in a subscription. The goal is to build a useful solution you can actually use.

Workbench notes.

Small notes from the lab. No hype machine. Just what is being built.

Support the workshop.

Everything here is free to explore when available. I don’t expect anyone to support this work, but if you believe in calm, practical software made by a real person, Patreon helps me keep building.
